Obituary of Bennieto (Benny) Padilla

In loving memory of Bennieto Padilla who passed away on February 27th 2024 in his home at 6:20 p.m. at the age of 93. And is now resting peacefully in Christ our Lord.

Bennieto was born on June 21st 1930 in sapio New Mexico.

Bennieto's family moved to Colorado, and ended up residing in Brighton Colorado.

Bennieto enlisted in th United States Army on December 20th, 1946 during World War II.  He was a rifleman at Camp Leroy, Johnson in New Orleans
LA.  From there, he was transferred to Panama.

He was honorably discharged on April 13th, 1948.  As he was heading home from the Army, getting off the bus, he met Eulalia Vigil who was also from Sapio New Mexico, who later became his wife and bore six children.

His career was that of a cement Mason.  And today you can drive around in different cities and see his beautiful work.

He and Eulalia purchased their first home on 4th street and renovated it to accommodate our growing family.  After a few years they moved into their second home to now accommodate our family of 8.

In 1996 Bennieto and Eulalia parted ways. Eulalia still living in Brighton and Bennieto living in Commerce city with Norma Garcia and her two sons, Jimmy and Robert. And this is the home where He passed away peacefully.

He loved working in his yard and always had it looking fantastic, that pictures of the yard were posted at one of the banks in Commerce city.

After he had a heart attack and fell and broke some ribs, he no longer was able to work out in the yard one of his pride and joys.

The last 3 years of Benny's life had become very rough.
