In Loving Memory of Geneva Mondragon

 

June 2, 1954 - October 22, 2021

 

Geneva Mondragon died October 22, 2021, with her family by her side in Englewood, CO. She was born on June 2, 1954 in Pueblo, CO to Fedelina Torres and Frank Sanchez.

 

Geneva grew up in Lakewood, CO and graduated from Alameda High School. Soon after she met and married her best friend and the love of her life Tom Mondragon.They were married on February 22, 1974 where they continued to spend the next 47yrs making one another laugh, smile, and expand their family. She shared this love with their two beautiful children, Jessica and Lisa.

 

Geneva devoted 42 years of her time and energy to her Home Daycare where she loved and nurtured children of all ages. Her other interests included making beautiful cakes,Facebooking, Pinterest, listening to music on her headphones, and reading the bible. She loved spending time with her family and friends. Tom and Geneva hosted weekly bible studies in their home for over 15 years. Geneva was a dedicated Christian who always put God first in her life. She will be greatly missed by so many people, we take comfort in knowing that we will see her again in Heaven.

 

Geneva is survived by her husband Tom Mondragon, Daughters Jessica Bible (Spouse Rick Bible) and Lisa Mondragon, Sister Rosalie Maestas (Spouse Rudy Maestas).
