Our family has loved Sheryl and Quentin and their family for over 40 years. They have always been a blessing to everyone in their lives. Sheryl was one of the kindest people I have ever known. Her smile and genuine interest and love for others made her a gift from the Lord to us all. She will be missed until we all get to see her again when we follow her into the presence of our Lord and Savior.
We love you Quentin, Chris and your entire family. Our prayers continue during this time of loss.
In Him,
Dave Holden

Aunt Sheryl was one of the sweetest and kindest persons I have ever known. I have fond memories of visiting her growing up on our many trips to Colorado from California. She always had a good sense of humor. I also appreciate that she had a sweet tooth like me. The last time I saw her in 2018 we laughed about it at the Easter buffet. I know her gentle spirit touched many lives. Rest in eternal peace my dear Aunt. Until we meet again...

Our friendship with Sheryl and Quentin began about 42 years ago. They sang in our church choir, and I (Sandy) was thrilled to join them. It was a very welcoming experience.
A few years later, we changed churches, and were pleased when they changed to the same church. After a time, Quentin and I (Doug) served on the elder board, and Sheryl and I (Sandy) became even closer as we served as elder wives together. We have precious memories of serving our church family through ministry in many different areas from Christmas caroling for those having health issues and in need of encouragement to ministering through Bible Studies and MOPS.
Sheryl was instrumental in showing me (Sandy) that golf is different for women than for men and we all became great golf partners spanning many years. While we now live in Broomfield, we continued to play golf with them throughout last summer. It was amazing to see how strong Sheryl’s golf game was even at that fragile point in her life.
A special memory for us is how we were so blessed by our brief times together in her last days as we would drop in to pray with and for her. Prayer brought great peace to her. She always knew who we were and would finish with a strong Amen and a warm hug.
Sheryl always made a difference in this world, and we so look forward to seeing her again in our eternal home with Jesus. Phil. 3:20-21
Our best to you Quentin in your time of loss.
Love in Christ,
Sandy & Doug Holden

I have such fond memories of my aunt. In the summers we would travel from San Francisco to Colorado and stay with my aunt Sheryl and my uncle Quentin. We always had a good time. One time we went to vacation Bible school and my aunt shared with me about Jesus, she then gave me a Bible called, “The Way”.This impacted my life so much and it is because of her that I became a Christian. I will always remember my Aunt Sheryl as she was an amazing woman. She was an influencer of many mothers through MOPS and she was a wonderful housewife,a wonderful mother and a very strong and faithful Christian. I am looking forward to spending time in heaven with my aunt. She is probably having breakfast daily with her mother, her sister, and her daughter! What a blessed reunion!

Sheryl was my one year older sister, and we were very close being only one year apart. We went together to Edison Elementary School, and then Skinner Jr High, not Whittier, which never heard of. Sheryl was a wonderful sister, sister in law to my wife Jill Schoenfeld White, and aunt to our daughters, Amy White-Thorstad and Melanie White, who were very close in age to their first cousins Chris and Lori, so always much enjoyed spending time together during summer vacations. We had fond memories with our late oldest sister Carolyn White Wallisch of attending Central Presbyterian Church starting in preschool and then transferring to Highland Methodist Church near the neighborhood we lived in where our Mother was my one of my cub scout leaders, and she had been a Brownie leader for Carolyn and Sheryl's troop. We were confirmed at Highland Methodist and attended youth activities there. We also shared many fond memories at North High School where our Mother, Margaret Kopf White, graduated from also. Sheryl was a top student, and I would get some of the same teachers the next year which was sometimes a little difficult since I wasn't as fast of a learner as Carolyn and Sheryl were. Jill is a genealogist on Ancestry.com, and there are many beautiful photos of Sheryl at North High and at U of N Colorado (Colorado State Teachers College). We always exchanged Anniversary cards and knew Sheryl died a few days before their 58th Anniversary. Jill and I will celebrate our 58th in November, God Willing, as I have life threatening coronary artery disease. Our hearts go out to Quentin on the loss of his life partner and best friend.
